ECDL Advanced | ITQ Level 3

There are four units available for the ECDL Advanced Course.  Each of the units is a qualification in its own right.  Should you complete all four of the units listed you can apply for the additional ECDL Expert certificate.  We can provide ECDL Advanced training as Distance Learning or as classroom based learning at our centre in Lutterworth, Leicestershire or if you have groups of 6-8 people anywhere in the UK.  The modules available are:

• Spreadsheets
• Databases
• Presentations

Learner Information

Is ECDL Advanced the right course for me?

This level is ideal for any learners who already have an excellent working knowledge of the Microsoft application/s but wish to gain a qualification. If you are not sure complete our ECDL Assessment and one of our advisors will come back to you with advice.

 

How long will it take?

This will depend on your current skill level and the time you have available to study. If you are completing the course at our centre you may be required to supplement some of the training with additional learning at home.  We will go through your current skill level for each module with you and provide you with any Level 1 or 2 material that we would like you to complete before you attend.  As a guide, 40 hours of study for each module. 

 

Do I have to attend classes every week?

Our courses are very flexible. If you choose to study using our online option the study takes place where ever you have access to the internet and you only have to attend the centre for exams. If you choose to study at Lutterworth you can choose the training days to suit you. Courses run every month and you can attend for half day’s or full day’s training.

What could I do next?

People who complete all 4 modules successfully will be awarded with an additional ECDL Expert Certificate.  Other ECDL qualifications include:ECDL,  ECDL Expert and ECDL Flexiqual.
